How do I convert a WINZIP that opens with Quicktime and convert it to an AVI file?

I have some guitar lesons I bought on line and when I received them they were in a WINZIP and will only open and play using the Quicktime program and Iwant to convert them to an .AVI file so i can download them to my MP3 and play tem back from there. How do I do this?
