Please Help with CD4 and VL?

These test are not counted depending on when take them, Your counts are going down because either your meds arent working or you are not taking them as you should. Also you do not have AIDS you have HIV, You get the AIDS status when your cd4 counts go below 200. You need to talk with your doctor and make sure you are on the right tail of meds. Talking with you doctor will keep you heathly and also being very honest with them about when you dont take the meds will better ist them in how to prescribe your meds. My husband has AIDS and almost died last year becuse he wasnt taking his meds. He got a common cold and put him in the hospital for 2 months. His cd4 was 4 and the VL was off the charts. Please dont let this happen to you. The meds work. Now his cd4 is over 100 and the VL is undetectable. Not all people are so lucky. Good luck and God bless you!
