Am i being a wuss about rotton.com?

I agree, that profitability should not be the guiding principal with respect to how we construct our world. But despite how vile such as site is - and I agree with you, you can't get much more vile - there will always be an argument for free speech. Yes, some hide behind this notion for reasons related only to profit. But it is still a tenet of democracy. The problem with shutting down such sites is that it becomes a wedge issue. There is probably pretty good agreement as the the value of such a website, but who ultimately gets to decide what should and what shouldn't be allowed? Aside from child ual abuse and snuff films, there is little which is almost universally reviled. It is a trade off, but I guess it is a price that is paid for more important freedoms.
