Why is the water not filling up in my washing machine?

first check the pressure valve take the back and top off make sure you unplug it look for a thin tube which will either go down to the pump or the back of the washer give the bulb at the end a good clean then put it back if it doesn't let water in then you'll need a new inlet valve both jobs not hard to do
