Wikipedia has been blocked at my school because of the amount of "atheist" content on there?

How can I convince the school board to unblock? I need it to research my ignments. They have also removed books from my library such The Da Vinci Code and The God Delusion because it is "unwanted content". How can I convince my school board otherwise? This is a school in the USA.
