Girl "hates me" but i like her :(?

o.k. theres this girl at my school...tall, blonde, beautiful, smart, athletic just about what any guy would want in a girl. Now me and her were o.k. friends going into this year and at the start she started liking me a lot more. Talked to me, hung-out with me, even defended me when people were saying that i was her pet and i started getting a hugh crush on her. Now about a month ago those same people told her that i liked her and that i was like stalking her (not true). After that she yelled at me for ignoring her because i felt it was awkward and stopped talking to me. I see her all the time in my cles, lunch, and even working out for football and she just acts like i don't exist...and even though i try and do the same i still can get over her.
